The Historical Center of the Bassett Branch Library is the repository for genealogical information in Patrick and Henry Counties.
The collection is one of the best in the Piedmont and southwestern Virginia, and they are known throughout the United States. The collection also contains slave Cohabitation Lists and is one of the five Virginia counties to have such lists.
Hours:
Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Tuesday: 12 - 5 p.m.
Friday: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
