The Martinsville-Henry County Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1959 and has been actively involved in all facets of our business community ever since. Membership Directory:  By being listed in the Chamber's official Membership Directory, you gain recognition and exposure at no extra charge. Members are listed in alphabetical order and by category with all of the appropriate contact information, including website and email addresses. Those who join during the year will be listed in a special supplement to the current directory. This directory is the "who's who" of Martinsville-Henry County business leaders!

Referral System:  The Chamber responds to thousands of inquiries by making referrals of Chamber members only.

Decal: The Chamber presents all new members with a decal, which can be proudly displayed to let customers know you are someone worth doing business with-you have made an investment in the community!

Visitors/Newcomer Information:  The Chamber promotes its members to current residents, businesses, tourists and newcomers. On average, the Chamber receives hundreds of call each month for information on Martinsville-Henry County.

The Martinsville-Henry County Chamber of Commerce seeks to influence public opinion at all levels of government by raising the awareness of issues that are of vital importance to businesses. On the local scene, your Chamber regularly meets with members of City Council and Board of Supervisors to ensure their policies are business friendly. The Chamber also prepares a number of submissions to them on issues affecting business. At the state and national levels, the Chamber works with Virginia and U.S. Chambers of Commerce to lobby government on major issues, such as education, workforce development, transportation and health care.
