Legislative Agenda

During the General Assembly, which convenes on January 13, 2010, we want you and all of our Chamber members to be kept informed and if needed, to TAKE ACTION NOW if an issue pertinent to business is at the forefront.

We will be tracking bills and decisions from our legislators and members of numerous legislative committees affecting the business community in Martinsville-Henry County. All positions taken by the Chamber will be displayed as well. 

Other important dates:

• January 13, 2010 - General Assembly begins
• January 27, 2010 - Chamber Day at the Capitol
• February 16, 2010 - Crossover
• March 13, 2010 - General Assembly ends
